Aratal's Astral Scepter of Eternity is a powerful artifact that channels the cosmic energies of the weave as it unfolds in the multiverse. Crafted from pure astral essence and forged from a fragment of the Arch Wizard Aratal's very soul, it is a symbol of authority and mastery over the boundless realms of existence.

Properties:

• Cosmic Channeling: While attuned to the Astral Scepter of Eternity, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill if you did not already have it. Additionally, you can use your Arcana skill to cast the detect magic  spell at will, without expending a spell slot.
• Astral Empowerment: As an action, you can channel the cosmic energies of the Astral Scepter of Eternity, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:
• Your spell attacks deal an additional 1d8 force damage.
• You have advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects.
• You can use your reaction to cast the shield spell, increasing your AC by 5 until the start of your next turn.
• Planar Transit: Once per long rest, you can use an action to cast the plane shift spell, without requiring any material components. You can only transport yourself and up to six willing creatures of your choice.

Eternal Guidance: While holding the Astral Scepter of Eternity, you have advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks to recall information about extraplanar beings, artifacts, or locations.
