A creature donning this armor must be proficient with light armor. In addition to the following, this armor acts as Studded Leather Armor for the purposes of AC (12 + Dex mod)
Made of sturdy, dark leather and shining metallic studs, this magical armor forms to the body of whoever puts it on and even seems to hum with electricity. The electrical current does not harm the wearer, rather it forms an extra layer of protecting giving the wearer a +2 bonus to AC.
This armor has 3 charges of electrical energy that can be expended as a reaction upon an enemy's successful melee attack against the wearer. Upon expending a charge, the wearer can call out to the Storm Maiden who blessed this armor release an electrical current as the enemy hits causing 3d8 lightning damage. The targeted creature must then succeed on a DC 15 Strength Saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn. Expended charges are regained at the next dawn.
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
