Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Attune 1hr)

 

a 2-handed greatsword of ancient design, a massive, polished platinum blade engraved with depictions of angels in bloody combat with devils, with a gold-trimmed edge that leads to the guard. It is an intricate and ornate design, consisting of two feathered wings spread in flight, with the handle descending between them, wrapped in delicate white linen.

 

Redemption: on strike, add 1d10 +4 holy damage. Add an additional +4 to fiends, monsters,  abborations, undead and fae. 

(hidden) red thirst: the blade never stops wanting to fill its belly with gore. Every day the blade is equipped, roll 1d100 to gain the Black Rage condition. 10 or lower gains Condition

(hidden) black rage: player no longer has control of their actions and attacks the nearest player/NPC. Effect last for 1hr, or until unconscious. 

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
