Arming Cap of Guidance

The Arming Cap of Guidance is a typical arming cap that a knight would wear beneath a steel helm or chainmail coif.  It can be worn alone or with a helmet. It does not affect armor class.

While worn, it grants the wearer the ability to cast the cantrip "Guidance" as if they were a spell caster who would normally be able to cast the spell. However, there are some key differences in this version of Guidance:

• The spell may be cast at will either as an action or bonus action.
• Range is still touch, but there is no verbal component
• Duration is 5 minutes (50 rounds), and it does not expire when used by the recipient, only when the duration expires.

Padded armor consists of quilted layers of cloth and batting.
