This strange belt seems docile and ordinary. The only unique aspect of it is that of the buckle on its center. An intricate crystaline cylindrical setting is caressed with thin arcaiac coils that shimmer faintly with prismatic hues. Within the hollow cylinder, eminates a gentle energy that waits dormantly.
Once a day, you may insert any rare or exotic shard, crystal, ore, or gem into the porthole of the hollow cylinder, activating the harness as the rare earth material is sucked into and hovered at the center of the hollow hole. Primed, you then are able to absorb the life force of any single subject. You must be touching the subject for an entire minute, and the subject must be alive during this absorption period. After the minute is up, the subject creature dies and turns into dust. In return, you gain one of its properties or traits at random, permanently.
Notes: History: A mighty Red Wyrm used its fierce flame breath onto its treasure hoard and forged this crystal buckle. An assortment of magic items, gold and gems fabricated this Artifact.
