Armor (half plate), legendary (requires attunement)

Crafted centuries ago by a planeswalker wizard under the tutelage of Sultan Marrake al-Sidan al-Hariq ben Lazan himself, the Armor of the Flamewrath is one of the four artifacts created to increase the strength of the legendary Key of Worlds.

Mithral is a light, flexible metal. Half-plate armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, but the mithral version of the armor doesn't. You have a +1 bonus to AC and gain a resistance to fire damage while wearing this armor.

You can use a bonus action to speak this armor's command word, causing thin and wispy flames to wreathe your body, shedding bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. While the flames wreathe you in this way, any creature within 10 feet of you that hits you with a melee attack takes 2d8 fire damage.

Twice per day while wearing this armor, you can use your bonus action to spread the flames to any melee weapon you wield, allowing you to cast searing smite at 2nd level.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.

Notes: Stealth Disadvantage: Remove, Bonus: Armor Class, Resistance: Fire, Combat, Warding, Stealth Disadvantage
