This amulet allows its wearer to control a Golden Sentinel, as if summoned by the Summon Construct spell cast at 4th level choosing Metal as the construct material. The construct looks identical to a Golden Sentinel of the Radiant Crown (Model# GAR-08). The amulet serves as the material component for the spell and cannot be cast again using this amulet. The sentinel is magically bound to the amulet.
As long as the sentinel and its amulet are on the same plan of existence, the amulet's wearer can telepathically call the sentinel to travel to it, and the sentinel knows the distance and the direction of the amulet. If the sentinel is within 60 ft of the amulet's wearer, half of any damage the wearer takes (rounded up) is transferred to the sentinel.
