Armor of Impalement (Homebrew By ME! FLACCIDTEETH!)

The armor of Hyperion the Shrike. The Breastplate is covered in mad ramblings of an unknown language, made from the metallic substance coming from the Tree of Impalement. As long as you wear this, the whispers of the countless lives claimed embody the armor, jumping to protect the wearer be it by choice, or force. When you are hit by a melee weapon, your attacker must roll a DC 15 con save, suffering from 1d6 magic piercing on fail.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
