In its normal shape, the Aurian Cochlarium is a tiny snail shell of gold inlaid with multicolored gems. When placed on the ground and the command words "Cresco Domus" are spoken the shell grows into a small, quaint hut in the shape of a giant snail shell. The outside is made of a substance similar to golden oak or lacquered plaster of a yellow gold color. The interior is a modestly appointed hut with a common room, sitting room, kitchen, lavatory (1) and 2-4 bedrooms. Simple but comfortable furnishings appoint all of the rooms. Any furnishing taken out of the shell disappears into dust when they cross the threshold. The hut will stay in place and large until the command word "Resilio Domus" is spoken by the original activator/owner.
Creatures indicated by the activator/owner can move freely in and out of the home as they wish. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells and other magical effects can't extend through the dome or be cast through it. The atmosphere inside the space is comfortable and dry, regardless of the weather outside. The hut can comfortably fit 6-7 people.
Notes: Attunement requires a week of use and habitation prior to fully using the powers/amenities of the cottage.
