Instead of the traditional metal, this armor seems to consist of finely shaped and detailed pieces of ice. When the armor's Reaction is used, the pathways in the ice plates pulse with a fine glow, drawing from magical energy.
You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
As a Reaction when targeted by an attack, you may expend a spell slot to gain a bonus to your AC equal to the spell slot's level, until the end of your next turn.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
