Description: This tome is made from leather made from draconic skin with silver trim, a silver skull with amethyst gems for eyes that emit a purple glow from the eyes and mouth, The name is stitched into the leather with silver thread.

Lore: Crafted by the ancient and malevolent Draco-Lich, Ebonscorn the Dying, the Grimoire of Shadows is a tome steeped in darkness and necromantic power. Ebonscorn sought to extend his influence beyond death, and this tome was his tool for harnessing the darkest of magics.

Non-Attunement Abilities:

• Spell focus and Spellbook: The Grimoire of Shadows can be used as a spell book and spell casting focus.
• Dark Whispers: The Grimoire of Shadows emanates a sense of dread. Creatures within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute.
• Necrotic Empowerment: Once per day, the grimoire can empower a necromantic or shadow spell cast by the wielder, causing it to deal additional necrotic damage equal to the spell's level.
• Arcane Insight: While carrying the Grimoire of Shadows, you have advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks related to the spells contained in the grimoire.
• Spells: The Grimoire of Shadows grants access to the following spells:
  
  Animate Dead
  Blindness/Deafness
  Ray of Enfeeblement
  Darkness
  Gentle Repose
  Vampiric Touch
  Fear
  Shadow Blade
  Speak with Dead
  Blight

Attunement Abilities:

• Shadowstep: While attuned to the Grimoire of Shadows, you can use an action to step into a nearby shadow and teleport up to 30 feet to another shadow you can see, as per the shadow step spell.
• Dark Resilience: You gain resistance to necrotic damage while attuned to the grimoire.
• Summon undead: You can summon 1d4 Skeletons (Archers or Warriors) or Zombies. (3 times per Long rest) These minions only have 5 hp
• Enhance damage: You can use the Grimoire of Shadows to add 2d6 Necrotic damage to any attack spell.
