Wondrous Item (Amulet), rare (requires attunement)
Description: This amulet, crafted from one of the scales of a black dragon, the trim is silver and the eyes of the dragon are filled with Moonstone gems. The Amulet is shaped like a kite shield trimmed in silver with the dragon rises and outlined in silver. On the backside of the Amulet is stamped the Symbol of the Dragon Goddess Tiamat.
Lore: A rival Black dragon was sacrificed to Tiamat after being slain by Ebonscorn, afterwards Ebonscon created this amulet as a conduit for the dragon's lingering essence. It grants its wearer the ability to speak the language of dragons and wield a fraction of the black dragon's necrotic power. Those who wear this amulet must be wary, for its power comes at a cost, draining the life force of those it strikes.
Non-Attunement Abilities:
- Language: Draconic ( this amulet grants the wearer the ability to understand and speak Draconic fluently)
- Draconic History: You gain advantage on any History check involving Draconic Lore.
- Draconic Sight: You gain 30 feet blindsight and 60 feet dark vision, if you have darkvision you gain an additional 60 feet.
Attunement Abilities:
- Draconic Breath Once per long rest.): Once per day, the wearer can unleash a breath weapon in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Creatures in the area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
- Life Drain: (Once per long rest.)The amulet absorbs the life force of any creatures that fail the saving throw, healing the wearer for the amount of necrotic damage dealt.
- Additional Ability; Life Drain: (2 times per long rest) As a bonus action, the wearer can attempt to drain life from a creature they touch. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 necrotic damage, and the wearer regains hit points equal to the damage dealt.
- Dragon Resistance : grants advantage on saving throws against dragon breath attacks, and grants its wearer resistance to acid damage while attuned
