Anyone not of the correct faith trying to pick up this amulet immediately takes 2d10 necrotic damage.

Attuning to this amulet gives the following benefits -

• Become resistant to necrotic damage
• Any necrotic damage dealt by the wearer ignores resistances & immunities
• Can use the amulet as a spell focus or a holy symbol for spellcasting
• Killing an innocent whilst attuned allows you to take 2d10 temporary hit points 
• Anyone killed by the wearer cannot be revived by divine magic of someone with a 'Good Aligned' God

Wearing this amulet however does allow the whispered one to know your location and what you can see at any time he wishes and can speak to the wearer at will telepathically. And he can choose to negate the affects of this amulet to those he feels have strayed from his path.
