Once attuned to this item, a character gains the following benefits:
- +1 to AC While welding a Weapon with Reach.
- Weapons With Reach can be held and used effectively in 1 hand regardless of their other properties, so long as a shield is held In the opposite hand.
- +5 to hit for attacks made not on the attuned creatures turn.
- As an Action, you may clutch the stone in your hand and speak the command phrase and expend 1 charge of the item, imbuing yourself with the Spirit of the Spear Maiden for 1 minute. While imbued with the Spirit of the Spear Maiden, you may make 2 attacks of opportunity per round of combat without utilizing your reaction. When an attack would hit you, you may use your reaction to roll a held weapons damage dice, adding it to your AC for the attack, potentially causing it to miss. Should the attack miss, and you are wielding a shield, you may as apart of the same reaction, make a special attack utilizing your shield. Should the attack hit the creature, it takes 1d6+strength modifier bludgeoning damage, and is pushed back 5ft, and is prone.
Notes: In order to attune to The Ancestral Stone of The Spear Maiden, you must spend 1 hour speaking to and appeasing the ancestors within the stone, making a DC 16 Dexterity save before the end of the attunement. Should a creature fail the save, the attunement cannot be completed.
