Weapon (greatsword), rare (requires attunement by a Must be attuned)

A long elegant sword seeming to be made of a mix of Ivory and Crimson Leather. The blade is etched with runes of a long forgotten tongue. Cursed

Blood Bond: The sword heals the bearer for an amount equal to half of the necrotic damage dealt.
Aura of Decay: As an action, the bearer can activate an aura that lasts 1 minute and inflicts 2d6 necrotic damage at the start of each turn to any enemy creature within a 10 foot radius.
Cry of the Fallen: Enemies within 30 feet that hear the sword's cry must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

CURSE OF THE INSATIABLE THIRST
Blood Thirst: The bearer must deal damage with the sword at least once a day or suffer a point of exhaustion that cannot be recovered by normal means.

Painful Withdrawal: If the bearer parts from the sword, they suffer a reduction in their maximum hit points by an amount equal to the last damage dealt with the sword, until
the sword is wielded again.

Echo of the Fallen: The souls of the creatures slain by the sword can disturb the bearer's rest, preventing them from gaining the benefits of a long rest.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
