This flask appears to have swirling and sparking smoke within it.

It can be left open for the smoke to escape, or thrown 30 feet, or used in a sling to create a brilliant flare of light.

When left open for a minute, or when the flask is broken, those within 30 feet of the flask that can see it, must make a Dexterity save (DC 16) or become blinded for two rounds. The flash creates shadows of those in the area effect whether they make their save against blindness or not.

One round after the flash, the shadows created detach themselves from their owners and become Shadows. They will attack the nearest creature that is not a shadow and will continue to do so for 1 minute or until they are destroyed.

It is not unknown for a Fist of Erebus to create Specters or Banshees.
