Addelmenton's Arcane Amplifiers

Addelmenton was a houseless wizard of relatively minor renown, but his mastery of low-level magics was impressive even to more prominent mages. Few knew Addelmenton's secret wasn't his mastery of the arcane, but rather his mastery of the underlying foundations of magical channeling, which he used to great success in the creation of his gloves. It wasn't until his later years that Addelmenton shared the secret of his in-depth meta-analysis of the channeling of magic and the creation of his signature gloves.

These gloves have 2 charges. While attuned to these gloves, when the wearer expends a 1st-level spell slot to cast a spell of 1st-level, they may expend a charge from the gloves to increase the casting level of the spell by 1, gaining all of the benefits as if they had cast the spell using a 2nd-level spell slot. They regain all expended charges at dawn each day.
