This item first appears to be a medium metallic egg weighing 100 lbs. The egg has a hidden engraved phrase, which can be found with a successful DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check. The engraving only appears after the attunement requirements are set. Uttering the sentence hatches the egg into a large metallic goose, with a porthole on its rear that opens into a pilot cockpit that can fit 2 medium or smaller creatures. On the opposite side of the cockpit are three feather-type levers that move up or down with a window facing outwards.

The Apparagoose can float on water, but it cannot go under it. If the Apparagoose is forced underwater it reverts to its egg form immediately and ejects the creatures that are inside of it.
