Use an action to place this amulet on a creature's body or clothing, then use a bonus action to cast Detect Thoughts on that creature without expending a spell slot.

You may only detect surface level thoughts.

The spell lasts for 10 minutes or until the target exits a 60ft range or until the amulet is removed.

The amulet must be retrieved to be used again.
