Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement by a by an individual of exceptional self-assuredness)

A strangely complex longbow plated in areas with a light weight metal. It can fold up to a compact unit and expand again through a clever series of hinges and springs.

While it leaks oil and shows evidence of long use and frequent repair, it moves and draws smoothly without a sound. There are flickering sparks evident in the depths of the mechanisms.

Once per short rest, as a bonus action you may compress and release the hinges of the bow to launch yourself a distance equal to five times your proficiency bonus. This movement counts as a long jump, must be in a straight line, and does not provoke opportunity attacks. Attacks made whilst flying through the air receive a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: by an individual of exceptional self-assuredness, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
