You now have a fancy monocle which you wear over your right eye.
If worn on the left eye, it does absolutely nothing.
When worn on the right eye, you gain blindsight (50ft), truesight(20ft), superior darkvision(120ft) and can see into the ethereal plane for 60ft when covering your left eye.
When you take damage for the first time in a day, a d6 is rolled and if it’s an odd number, the fancy monocle will break, and on a failed con save of DC18, you get blinded in your right eye for 1d4 days.
If an even number is rolled, the abilities gained from it are halved for 1 hour.
If the fancy monocle is broken, you can pay 150 gold pieces for it to be repaired by any shopkeeper that sells a magic item.
When having the fancy monocle in your possession, you get + your proficiency bonus to any rolls that require sight if you specify that you’ll use the fancy monocle on top of any other modifiers you’d have on it and plus half your proficiency bonus rounded down if you use it when it’s broken.
Notes: You need to wear it for a total of 5 hours before gaining any of it’s abilities and you will have disadvantage on all checks that require sight while attuning to it.
