Aisling, The Tide Breaker (Dormant)

A mysterious magical artifact from an unknown realm; Aisling, The Tide Breaker, as it has come to be known, has shown up across Exandria at multiple points in history, seemingly randomly. Some scholars believe that the sword hails from a distant unknown plane, bearing symbolism that is suspected to be that of an unknown deity. How it comes to appear in the material plane, is unknown. Its defining and most recognisable characteristics are that of a humming black pearl, inlaid in the pommel. Around the pearl is the emblem of what is thought to be an unknown god, displayed as a rumbling black cloud with several spouts of lightning.

The blade itself seems to be cold to the touch, with an occasional cerulean blue glow.

When held and by a creature that is unnatuned to this weapon, Aisling functions as a moon-touched longsword, creating bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet while in darkness.

 

Dormant

 

While attuned to Aisling in its dormant state, you gain the following benefits:

 

You have a +1 bonus to all attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

 

Your Charisma score is increased by 1.

 

You can cast Conjure Elemental from the sword once per day, using the command word 'Uisge eileamaideach'. The elemental takes the form of water, using the stats of 'Water Elemental'. Controllable by the caster.

 

 As a bonus action, you can say the command word "Analach uisge". The blade produces a blue, torch like glow, allowing the user water breathing.

 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
