A user can use an action to load and fire the catapult to a target up to 30 feet away. If the catapult is already loaded, the user can use a bonus action to fire the catapult. Choose one object weighing between 1 to 5 pounds that is loaded into the catapult. The object flies in a straight line up to 30 feet in a direction the user chooses before falling to the ground, stopping early if it impacts against a solid surface. If the object strikes a creature, that creature must make a dexterity saving throw against the spellcaster's DC. On a failed save, the object strikes the target and stops moving. When the object strikes something, the object and what it strikes each take 1d8 bludgeoning damage. The catapult needs to be mended after 2 uses, up to 3 separate times before it permanently breaks.
