This glass eye appears to contain swirling astral space and stars. When you attune to this item, it replaces one of your eyes, or fills the socket of an eye you are missing - you can see through it as if it were a normal eye. When your attunement to this eye ends, any eye it replaces returns to its original socket. The eye falls out if you die.
Astral Vision. While attuned tot his eye, you gain Darkvision out to 60 ft. Moreover, when you gaze at the sky, you can choose to see the stars as they are in that moment. As an action, you can visualize a location you are familiar with - this cannot be a location whose precise location you don't know. The stars brighten and form a star map that can guide you in the direction of the location you visualize.
