The Amulet of Boundless Anchors is forged from a core of condensed astral energy and encircled by rings of arcane sigils. This powerful artifact enables its attuned user to bend spatial dimensions, creating anchor points on creatures, objects, or locations across any distance or plane.
Properties:
Spatial Anchor: As an action, the wielder can make a melee spell attack against any target (creature, object, or location) within reach. Upon a successful hit, the wielder expends one spell slot to place a Spatial Anchor on the target. The duration of the anchor depends on the level of the spell slot expended:
1st level: 1 hour
2nd level: 2 hours
3rd level: 4 hours
4th level: 8 hours
5th level: 24 hours
6th level: 1 week
7th level: 1 month
8th level: 1 year
9th level: Until dispelled
Teleportation Link: At any time, the wielder can use a teleportation spell or ability to instantly transport themselves, or any other creature or object they touch, to an anchored location, bypassing the spell’s intended destination. This still requires using the normal rules and spell slot for the teleportation used.
Unlimited Anchors: The amulet can maintain an unlimited number of anchors. However, each new anchor placed requires the expenditure of a spell slot.
Limitations:
If the Spatial Anchor is placed on a creature, the creature can make a Wisdom saving throw against the wielder's spell save DC to resist the anchoring effect.
Anchors placed on creatures or objects are invisible and typically undetectable by normal means but can be discovered through the use of detection spells or abilities like truesight.
