The amulet contains 3 charges that renew after a long rest. The shield is cast as a reaction and adds a +3 to your AC, including against the triggering attack. Duration of the shield is 1 minute. It cannot be cast onto another creature and only protects the wearer .
The Druidic magic also allows you to Speak to Animals at will.
