Weapon (revolver), unknown rarity

An mechanical weapon from long ago, carvings of ornate sigils lie on the cylinder of the device. This weapon has 1 charge, that recharges every long rest.

Orbit Shot: By expending a charge, a special shot can be fired that digs into the body of a target creature. Make an attack roll with a modifier of 2 + (your DEX modifier). This deals 1d4 piercing damage. For the next 5 shots from this weapon, you gain advantage on attack rolls.

This weapon has 6 rounds in the chamber. For an action, you can make a ranged weapon attack with the following spell:

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 90 feet
Components: S
Duration: Instantaneous

You hurl a 4-inch-diameter sphere of energy at a creature that you can see within range. Roll a d6 where each number corresponds to one of the following damage types: cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder for the type of orb you create, and then make a ranged weapon attack against the target. If the attack hits, the creature takes 3d8 damage of the type you rolled. After 6 attacks with this weapon (not including Orbit Shot) this weapon must be reloaded with an action.

On a critical failure this deals damage 1d10 of one of the above rolled typings (roll for type) to the user. The weapon can no longer make attacks until an action is used to repair the weapon.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
