This small magical stone is one of many similar stones created by the followers of the dwarven (esp. duergar) deity, Laduguer. It may be found on its own, usually in a leather pouch branded with a symbol of a broken arrow across a shield, or (very rarely) in an ornate stone box as part of a collection of Stones of Laduguer.

The stone has a silvery appearance and emits an aura of Transmutation magic.

It can be held in the hand and used as a whetstone for bladed weapons and tools. When used in this manner for at least 1 minute, the weapon gains the Silvered property for 1 hour. The stone's effect never last longer than 1 hour, no matter how long they are used on the blade. The stone does not grant any attack or damage bonus.

Each Stone of Laduguer can be used 3 times per day.
