A pair of enchanted leather bracers that function like a shield. They will grow and retract hardened bark to deflect incoming blows. For all intents and purposes these "bracers" act as a shield. 

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
