You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. As a bonus action, you may either absorb the axe as an arm tattoo of the axe, hiding it sight, or summon it from its tattoo form. Grants one rechargeable rage per day.
Curse: The curse of the Axe of Forbidding activates after the wielder kills a creature with it for the first time.
- Trigger: Upon the first kill, the axe binds to the wielder’s soul, causing the wielder's rage to become uncontrollable at times.
- Effect: When the wielder enters rage, there is a 10% chance (1-2 on a d20) they enter a frenzied state for 1 minute, during which they must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw at the start of each turn. On a failed save, they must use their action to attack the nearest creature, friend or foe.
- Torment: The axe feeds on the wielder's fury, causing them to experience restless nights. Each long rest, the wielder must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they gain one level of exhaustion.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
