Logan's Saddle

Truly one of a kind and steeped in history, Logan's Saddle is an exquisitely crafted piece of equipment, adorned with intricate royal motifs after the first monarch of Daragaard, Logan Roheline. The pommel of the saddle is shaped into the majestic head of a griffon, the beast trained and rode into battle by the King himself during the 2nd War. The leather is dyed a deep, regal blue, and golden thread is used to embroider patterns reminiscent of the ancient royal Roheline insignias.

Bond of the Rider (Passive). While attuned to this saddle and riding the creature it is fitted on, the rider gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made while mounted. The rider also gains advantage on saving throws against being dismounted.

Mindspeak (Passive). The saddle grants the rider and the mount the ability to communicate telepathically with each other as long as they are within 1 mile of each other. This communication is intuitive and requires no action.

Synchronized Movements (Passive). The mount gains a +2 bonus to its AC, and the rider can use their reaction to grant the mount advantage on a Dexterity saving throw.

Note - To attune to this saddle, a creature must spend a long rest focused on bonding with their mount while the saddle is fitted onto the creature.
