An aged sausage made from ankheg meat, strong spices, and curative herbs, these small smoked sausages are a flavorful and welcome addition to any adventurer's trail rations. Consuming an ankheg sausage during a short rest accelerates the body's natural healing process, healing for one hit point per character level, plus one for each hit die spent. While there are rumors that adding troll meat will allow a partially eaten sausage to regrow, the stories are (hopefully) unfounded.
