Whoever finds the source of the first blood and tastes it will hear the following words
Three heads, one body, hidden deep in the abyss,
Beneath fiery caves, where molten shadows kiss,
A weapon lies still, in the heart of the peak,
Forged from wrath and the sorrows we seek.
A greatsword as if forged from red blood, with lines of runes etched into the tip as if by small teeth that had bitten into the metal.
Enemies injured by this weapon strengthen the bearer of the weapon by half the total damage dealt in the round of attack (grants Temp HP/half total damage).
Step 1
- Those who are hostile to the bearer of the weapon and attack him with hostile and deadly intent must be struck down by the bearer of the weapon.
- Abraxes demands obedience, whereby all those who oppose the red shepherd are punished for their insolence. Abraxes deals an additional 3d8 necrotic damage on each attack and an additional 3d12 necrotic bonus damage on a critical hit.
- The wearer can cast the spell Haste
Step 2 - Requierement "Source of the First blood" and Aschenschlundbringer
- The spell Misty Step can now be cast without consuming resources or using an action. PB/SR. If the bearer of the weapon has not mastered the spell, they will learn it automatically.
- Transfusion: Instead of empowering yourself with Abraxxes, you can grant half the damage you dealt this turn to protect all allies you can see within 30 feet of you as a shielding Aura (Temp-HP)
- Extends the range of attacks with Abbraxes to 30 feet and increases the bonus damage by a further 2d8 to 5d8 damage, for a crit this would be 5d12 extra necrotic damage.
- Create a Vampire Spawn
- Sanguinus: Once per battle, the wearer of Abbraxes can strike a fatal blow on command (guaranteed critical hit). This blow extends to all persons within 10 feet of the wearer, dealing 4d10 additional force damage
Abbraxes ignores necrotic immunities and resistances and suppresses the Necrotic Gain ability if the bearer successfully hit the target..
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
