Weapon (dagger), very rare

This +2 magical dagger was formed with the acid of a black dragon's Acid Breath in conjunction with a legendary weaponsmith for the Cult of the Dragon. Because of this, the dagger's blade is made entirely of magical acid. This powerful weapon not only bestows a powerful burst of elemental damage on its victim, but also has the potential to cause several other conditions on its victim. Its use should not be taken lightly.

  • To Hit: DEX+Prof+2
  • Damage: 1d4+DEX+2 Piercing Damage & 8d8 Acid Damage
  • Saves: 3 DC 17 Saves - 1 CON Save, 2 DEX Saves
    • Save 1: Damage & Stunted Healing (CON Save)
      • Failure = Take Full Acid Damage & Healing of the target is halved for 1d8+2 Rounds. Greater Restoration ends this halved healing early.
      • Success = Half Acid Damage & Healing is unaffected.
    • Save 2: Continued Acid Damage (DEX Save)
      • Failure = Target takes 1d8 Acid Damage at the start of its turns for 1 minute. Target may reroll the DEX Save at the end of each of their turns.
      • Success = Target does not take additional damage.
    • Save 3: Blinded Condition (DEX Save)
      • Failure = Target is Blinded until the end of its next turn.
      • Success = Target is not Blinded.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
