Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunement by a being in total darkness for an hour.)

This sword once belonged to the legendary assassin Lassiviren. It's gleaming adamantine blade has several magical properties.

When attuned, the wielder gains the ability to see through normal and magical darkness (120 feet). The wielder is also immune to poisons of all sorts.

When drawn, the blade emits a globe of darkness in a 20 foot radius and dim light in an additional 10 foot radius. The darkness is canceled when the blade is sheathed or dropped.

Attacks with this weapon do an additional 1d6 slashing damage. On an attack roll of natural 19 or 20 the target must make a DC 18 constitution saving throw or gain 1 level of exhaustion for an hour.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
