When deafened, the amulet converts all sounds to telepathic messages. It can convert loud sounds (screams, alarms) within 200 feet, normal sounds (conversation) within 60 feet, quiet sounds (footsteps) within 25 feet, and quietest sounds (whispers) within 5 feet. Sounds between the end of the range up to 2 times as far will be converted as unintelligible noises. Noises above 2 times the maximum distance away will be completely ignored by the amulet and treated as if they do not exist.
When attuned, the amulet can cast "Comprehend Languages" twice a day, using a charge, resetting at dawn. Conversion to telepathy can be used without attunement and does not consume a charge.
If the character wearing the amulet is not already deafened, they will be deafened upon putting it on. This negates anything that would otherwise remove a deafened condition.
The amulet adds a small bonus to wisdom (1d4) upon first wear every day.
DnD hearing aid, but with some additional advantages.
Notes: Bonus: Wisdom Score, Deafened, character with the deafened status effect, Communication, Buff, Social, Debuff, Detection, Negation, Jewelry
