Properties:

• Amplify Magic: The amulet grants the wearer a bonus to their spellcasting ability score (Charisma for wizards, Wisdom for clerics, etc.) equal to +2. This bonus applies to all spells cast by the wearer, including those from spellcasting classes and rituals.
• Healing Aura: The amulet has a 5-foot radius of healing energy around the wearer. Once per day, the wearer can use an action to heal themselves or a creature within range for 4d8 + 2 hit points.
• Protective Aura: The amulet grants the wearer resistance to cold damage and advantage on saving throws against cold damage.
• Visionary: Once per day, the wearer can use an action to gain insight into a problem or question they are currently pondering. The wearer can ask the DM one question, and the DM will provide a cryptic answer that may or may not be helpful.
• Drain: Using the amulet's abilities can be draining. Each time the wearer uses an ability, they must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. Failure means they become exhausted and must rest for 1 hour.

Requirements:

• The wearer must be a member of the tribe that created the amulet.
• The wearer must be able to channel the tribe's ancestral energy (see below).

Channeling Ancestral Energy:

• To use the amulet's abilities, the wearer must first channel their connection to the tribe's ancestors. This can be done by performing a specific ritual or meditation, which takes 10 minutes.
• While channeling, the wearer gains a bonus to their Wisdom (Perception) score equal to +2. This bonus applies only while they are using an amulet ability.
• The wearer can only channel their connection to the ancestors once per day.

Destruction:

• The amulet can be destroyed by piercing it with a holy symbol of the tribe's patron deity.
• If the amulet is destroyed, it releases a burst of ancestral energy that deals 2d6 force damage to all creatures within 10 feet.

History:

The Ancestral Amulet was created by the tribe's ancestors as a symbol of their connection to the land and their people. It has been passed down through generations, and its power is said to be tied to the well-being of the tribe.
