The wand is made from a rare, shimmering crystal that changes color depending on the elemental energy it channels. Attuning to it lets the wielder access the following powers locked within the crystal:
Elemental Attunement: The wand can be attuned to one of the four primary elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Air) during a long rest. The attuned element determines the wand's abilities until it is re-attuned.
Elemental Blast: As an action, the wielder can unleash a blast of elemental energy corresponding to the attuned element. This blast deals 3d8 damage of the chosen type (fire, cold, bludgeoning, or lightning) to a target within 60 feet.
Elemental Shield: As an action, the wand can be used to cast a protective shield once per long rest, granting resistance to the attuned element's damage type for 1 hour.
Elemental Manipulation: The wielder can use the wand to manipulate small amounts of the attuned element (e.g., create a small flame, move a cup of water, shift a handful of earth, or create a gentle breeze) as a cantrip.
Elemental Burst: Once per day, the wielder can unleash a powerful burst of elemental energy, dealing 6d8 damage of the attuned type in a 20-foot radius centered on a point within 60 feet. This requires a long rest to recharge.
