Awakened State-

You have an extra 2 superiority dice = d8. 

Know the danger: At the start of combat before any turns are taken you may expend a superiority die and ask the DM a question regarding the combat. This could be a weakness of an enemy, intentions, environmental concerns, etc. The DM will call for an appropriate roll, and add your superiority die to it. This must be done before combat starts and cannot be done if surprised. 

Shoulder to Shoulder. On your turn, you may expend one superiority die to allow one of your companions to move with you if they use their reaction. Your companion must start and end this movement within 5 feet of you. During this movement, all opportunity attacks that would target them, target yourself instead.

Parry. When another creature damages you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction and expend one superiority die to reduce the damage by the number you roll on your superiority die + your Dexterity modifier.

Notes: Ajax, doesn't count towards attunement slots.
