Also known as the Noble Warrior's Blade, the blade of this longsword shines like polished silver, remaining perfectly reflective no matter what punishments it endures. Blue and silver flames lick incessantly along the blade, quillons, and pommel, and they harmlessly surround the wielder’s hands whenever the blade is drawn. At the seat of the blade is an Elven rune meaning “weapon,” which is commonly used as a sword mark.
Once bonded via Blade-rite, Ary'Velahr'Kerym remains bound until the wielder's death, or until they commit some grievous sin against either their alignment or the elf people. In such a case, the blade punishes them as though they had failed to bond with it unless they make an immediate effort to atone for their sin.
Ary'Velahr'Kerym is a magical, sentient, Chaotic Good longsword with a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. It can speak Elvish audibly and telepathically. Being bonded with Ary'Velahr'Kerym provides you with the following boons:
- As a bonus action you may brighten or dim the radiant light the blade sheds from a 5 to a 60 foot radius.
- As a free action, you may summon Ary'Velahr'Kerym to your hand as long as it is somewhere on the same plane.
- Your body is returned to peak physical age (1 year after adulthood is reached) and you age twice as slow.
- You can cast blade barrier once per day, cast enhance ability (bull's strength) on yourself three times per day, and cast detect evil and good at will.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
