Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a creature with no left hand, and pass a willpower saving throw.)

Stone Fist

The Stone Fist is a formidable artifact resembling a massive stone fist with a short sleeve attached. For generations, the leaders of the Stonefist family have used this enchanted prosthetic to protect the local Regency as their personal guard.

Attunement: To attune to the Stone Fist, the user must undergo a harrowing ritual where they ceremoniously sever their own left hand, cauterize the stump, and then mentally battle to control the Fist. The wielder must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw during this ritual. On a failure, the Fist refuses to attune, leaving the wielder with a bloody stump.

Once successfully attuned, the Stone Fist attaches seamlessly to the severed arm and functions as a living stone appendage under the wielder’s complete control.

Properties:

  • Enhanced Attacks: While wearing the Stone Fist, unarmed strikes with the Fist have a +1 bonus to attack rolls and deal 1d8 bludgeoning damage + Strength modifier. These attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks.

Feats:

  • Stone Grip: While grasping anything with the Stone Fist, you have advantage on ability checks and saving throws to maintain your grip. This includes resisting grapple escapes, preventing disarms, climbing, holding onto a rope, etc.

  • Timeless as Stone: Once per long rest, the Stone Fist can act as an immovable rod for up to 10 minutes. During this time, the Fist can anchor itself to any solid surface or remain immovable in mid-air, providing a firm hold that is nearly impossible to overcome.

Notes: Bonus: Strength Attacks, creature with no left hand, and pass a willpower saving throw.
