An amulet that is able cast one Counterspell at lvl 3 - once per long rest.

The story of this amulet starts with a troubled, young wizard. This young boy was getting picked on by one of his peers, for not being able to cast evocation spells and therefor: needed to daily, dodge out of the way from an incoming firebolt. After some time of ridicule, the young wizard wanted to find a way to stop the attacks and decided to take some time and figure out a plan. So he faked an illness and stayed in his chambers for an entire month to build some sort of magical spell. Every once in a while, one of the more understanding masterwizards of the school, joined him in his tinkering and assisted him with until at last - it was finished.

For HE HAD KNOWN that the harrasing wizard in question, was as weak and new to magic as himself and that he could only cast one measly spell a day (read: cantrip). Once the young wizard returned to his daily schedule, he blocked every attempt of a spell - and no one could figure out how he did it. They didn't even know it was himself who did it! The dreaful boy eventually started to doubt himself and the once harassed increase his knowledge of blocking magic and started to interfere with other boy's magic attempts IN class. Which eventually lead to the boy leaving the school entirely.
