While holding this item, you may touch a creature and attempt to possess them as an action.
You must make a Charisma check contesting a Wisdom saving throw, and on a success possess the creature. A creature may choose to fail the contest. While possessing a creature, their intelligence, wisdom, and charisma ability scores are replaced by you, and you have control over their body. Your body falls prone and is considered unconscious. If a creature succeeds the wisdom saving throw, you fall under the slow spell until the end of your next turn. You may possess a creature for up to 1 hour. A possession may end early by a banishment spell, by having the possessed creature move to a different realm then your body, or your body dying. You may also end it as a bonus action on your turn.
A creature must be no more then one size smaller or larger then you, must be humanoid, and has an intelligence score above 3 to be able to be possessed. You may possess a creature once per day.
