This ancient waraxe was forged by Uldryn the father of Taark "the crusader" after the founding of Bhaerynden, the first great kingdom of the Korhazmar whose descendants became the shield dwarves. This axe was said to have been forged from the bones of the great chrome dragon, Bragollach the Ancient. This axe was said to have cut great swathes through balors and mariliths alike in the demonic host of the drow during the Crown Wars. As the Crown Wars raged on, the axe passed from one hand to another. Long after the fall of Bhaerynden, the axe was taken to the Northkingdom of Delzoun and served as a symbol of rulership among the kings of Sundabar. During the War of the Silver Marches Sundabar was conquered by Hartusk and his orc bands and the axe was lost. Rumors of its appearance are spoken of in many dwarven halls even to this day but few know if any of them are true.
