This piece of embroidered fabric has the symbol of Boldrei on it, with rough stitching over it in an attempt to cover the wording underneath. This piece is a school patch belonging to Auster, given freely to Iolas as a token of good will after Iolas's amulet was destroyed. This piece can be sewn onto any item of clothing, or alternatively onto an appropriate shield to grant its effects.
This item counts as a +2 holy symbol and has 5 charges. Once attuned, this patch gives the following benefits:
Spells. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC and spellcasting ability modifier: pass without trace (1 charge), mass healing word (2 charges, cast at 4th level), nondetection (2 charges), or greater restoration (3 charges).
Channel Divinity. You can expend all 5 charges to use your Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature's uses.
The patch regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. At the end of each day, if you have expended all 5 charges, roll a d100. On a 10 or lower, the patch falls apart into tattered pieces of fabric and holds no magic.
Notes: Bonus: Cleric Spell Attacks, Bonus: Cleric Spell Save DC, Bonus: Paladin Spell Attacks, Bonus: Paladin Spell Save DC, cleric or paladin of Boldrei, Healing, Buff, Utility, Warding, Focus
