This mystical spear is Master Forged from black ice and elvensteel, and fused with the magically captured light of a supernova, this gleaming black spear resembles a rod of blacked crystal that glows white deep within. The legendary weapon has the power to cut rifts through physical reality.
The weapon melee is: +2 (+mods), 1d8 +(mods)+2 piercing or 1d10+(mods)+3 w/two hands
Ranged (range 20/60) +2 (+mods), 1d8 +(mods)+2, piercing +1d8 radiant dmg (when thrown, a streak of radiant astral light follows in a 1' wide streak).
If attuned to the weapon:
- (bonus action ) – can be summoned from the Astral Plane, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand. The weapon can also be dismissed back to the plane, if you are holding it.
- (bonus action) – if thrown, the weilder can dimension door x3/day to an unoccupied space nearest where the spear was thrown.
- (action) x3/day – when holding as a two-handed weapon, channel the full power of the spear, to rapidly misty step to 1d4 places within 30’ to make up to two melee attacks (class dependent), with separate attack rolls for each target. Once used this feature three times, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.
Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
