At first glace, this staff is made of flesh and bone, emanating large amounts of necrotic magic. Upon attunement, the nature of the staff changes, some of the bones of the staff petrify turning to stone while others freeze over into ice. Places where flesh once was begin to glow bright and catch fire, burning indefinitely. And a breeze of wind circles at the top of the staff.

While you are holding this apex crucible, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells, and you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells. 

Once per a long rest, you may cast meteor swarm without expending a spell slot. When you cast the spell this way, the four meteors take on the form of the four elemental aspects. One dealing fire damage, one dealing cold damage, one dealing force damage, and one dealing piercing damage, replacing the fire damage aspect of the spell.

In addition, when you use your Arcane Recovery feature, you can increase the number of spell slot levels you regain by 1.
