Weapon (dagger), artifact

Formerly a children's toy, this worn out wooden dagger has been imbued with nature's magical power of regeneration.

Since Splinter is a children's toy, anyone can wield it effectively and add their proficiency bonus when attacking with it. Splinter crits on a roll of 19 or 20.

Splinter has 20 charges. It deals 2d4 bludgeoning damage on a successful hit. Whenever you roll a 4 on this weapon's damage dice, you can spend one charge for each 4 you rolled to inflict your target with a splinter. Same target can have any number of splinters. The affected creature can spend it's action to pluck one splinter out or suffer 1 point of piercing damage for each splinter at the end of its turn.

At dawn of every day, this wooden dagger restores its original form and regains all lost charges.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
