Ashbringer is a powerful and legendary greatsword known for its use against the forces of evil. Upon being forged, the sword was named after by its original wielder, who was known as "The Ashbringer" during the wars against the Legions of Hell.
So it was that over the course of time, the man and the weapon seemed as one. Ashbringer became a name of legend, attributed not just to the fearsome blade but also to the relentless knight who wielded it.
This legendary greatsword grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. You can use a bonus action to make a prayer, causing holy flames to erupt from the blade. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 2d8 fire and radiant damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you drop or sheathe the sword.
When the wielder of this weapon rolls a critical against an undead of fiend, the creature is instantly destroyed if its challenge rating is 3 or lower.
This legendary greatsword has 6 charges, that can be used to cast Bless, Holy Aura, and Sunburst for 1, 2, and 3 charges respectively, with a Save DC 18. This weapon regains 1d6 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 20, Ashbringer regains all charges.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Fire, Bonus: Melee Weapon Attacks, Damage: Melee Weapon Attacks, Damage: Radiant, paladin, Damage, Buff, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
