Arcane Stasis Vessel

This sophisticated device, created by the brilliant minds of the Izzet League, combines advanced technology with powerful arcane protections. The Arcane Stasis Vessel is designed to hold and suppress the malevolent energies of the most dangerous artifacts. The vessel is a container made of Khyber Dragonshard crystal, reinforced with mithral bands inscribed with intricate glyphs and runes. It rests on a base of an adamantine and mizzium alloy, embedded with arcane circuitry that pulses with a soft, blue light.

Properties:

Dimensional Lock: The vessel creates a dimensional anchor around the artifact, preventing it from being teleported or moved through any magical means.

Anti-Magic Field: A constant anti-magic field (as per the spell) emanates within the vessel, nullifying the artifact's magical properties while contained.

Arcane Glyphs: The mithral bands are inscribed with powerful glyphs of warding, each set to discharge if tampered with. These glyphs can be customized to deliver various effects, such as explosions, paralysis, or even banishment spells.

Telepathic Shielding: The vessel blocks any telepathic communication to or from the artifact, preventing it from influencing the minds of those nearby.

Life Support Negation: The vessel negates any life-supporting effects of the artifact, making it inert as long as it remains inside.

Evil Containment: The vessel has been imbued with divine energy to specifically counteract evil. The artifact cannot exert any of its malevolent influence or corrupt those in proximity to it while contained.

Protective Shutter: A concealed button on the base of the vessel activates a mechanism that deploys a layer of adamantine and mizzium alloy over the Khyber Dragonshard crystal. This alloy is not only incredibly durable but also highly resistant to both magical and physical damage, ensuring the vessel’s protection in the most hazardous environments.

Maintenance:

The vessel requires regular infusions of magical energy to maintain its properties, typically from a wizard of significant power. Failure to do so can result in the containment weakening, potentially allowing the artifact to escape.

Notes: The Arcane Stasis Vessel is valued at approximately 45,000 gp in price. This price reflects the legendary nature of the item, its powerful enchantments, and the rare materials used in its construction., Activating the vessel requires a command word, attuned by the creator. Once the artifact is placed inside, the vessel seals shut, and the containment protocols activate. The vessel can only be opened by repeating the command word and performing a specific arcane gesture known only to the creator.
